This policy explains what Fantasy Box Office ("we," "us") collects when you use this site, and what we do with it. We're a small fantasy-sports app, not an ad or data business — we don't sell your information to anyone.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address, a display name you choose, and a hashed (not plaintext) password.
• Gameplay data: the leagues, studios, and movie slates you create or draft.
• Basic technical data needed to operate the site — e.g. the IP address a request comes from, used only to apply rate limits against abuse (not stored long-term or linked to your profile).

How we use it

Solely to run the service: authenticating you, running your leagues, scoring your slate, and showing you and your leaguemates the results. We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to third parties.

Cookies

We set a single session cookie (via Auth.js) so you stay logged in. It's used only for authentication — we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site, each only for the purpose listed:

• Supabase — hosts our database.
• Vercel — hosts the application itself.
• Resend — sends transactional email (currently just password-reset links), nothing else.

None of these providers use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and league data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself from your Settings page at any time — doing so removes your personal info (email, display name, password) permanently. Leagues you've played in keep your historical picks and standings intact, since that data is shared with and still needed by your leaguemates; deleting your account anonymizes your identity on those records without affecting anyone else's standings or history.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
